The Maryland Renaissance Festival is looking for a few good men and women to join the Fight Corps performance company at the Festival.  These actor/combatants will be involved in performances that combines acting and staged violence involving both unarmed and weapons combat.

Interested performers must have the following experience:
-Acting experience, Shakespeare a plus.
-Must have trained and passed a Skills Proficiency Test in three different disciplines.
- Must be physically fit and ready to move and learn choreography
-Be available for all performance dates, which are Saturday, Sundays, and Labor Day Monday from August 26th to October 22nd.

Rehearsals are scheduled in July and August, with some training beginning in June.

All positions are paid.

Auditions are scheduled for Saturday, May 13th and are by invitation only. Performers will need to prepare a short Shakespearean monologue and be ready to learn combat choreography.  For consideration please send your picture and resume to the Festival’s Artistic Director, Carolyn Spedden
